Mountain Kennels we have been involved in dogs for some 30 years. Starting out in
Mastiffs in the early 70’s and discovering Border Collies in 1986. These past years
have taken us through the wonders, joys and sometimes heartbreak that goes along with
sharing our lives with our canine companions. Striving to maintain the highest standards
in our breeding program we have focused on producing healthy sound dogs. From
experience we have learned that you breed only the best to the best and that breeding for
quantity is not the way to achieve quality. By breeding for intelligence, instinct and
sound physical structure you produce loving devoted companions as well as top winning dogs, whether it be in performance events
or the breed ring.
